Overview of Kaohsiung Subsidence

1.Level network detection
There was no significant subsidence in Kaohsiung from 2016 to 2020. The area of significant subsidence is 0.0 square kilometers, and the maximum annual subsidence rate is 1.4 cm/year. It is located in Qifeng District, followed by 1.3 cm/year in Miduo District. The remaining subsidence rates are mostly ± Within 1 cm/year, there is no significant surface change. The main subsidence detection points in Kaohsiung in 2020 are shown in Table 3; the average subsidence rate from 2016 to 2020 is shown in Fig. 3.

2.Data analysis of landslide monitoring wells
1.There is no significant subsidence in Kaohsiung from 2016 to 2020. The area of significant subsidence is 0.0 square kilometers. The maximum annual subsidence rate is 1.4 cm/year. It is located in the Qifeng District, followed by 1.3 cm/year in the Miduo District. The remaining subsidence rates are mostly ± Within 1 cm/year, there is no significant sinking area.
2. According to the cumulative subsidence from 2006 to 2020, the main subsidence locations in Kaohsiung are in the Gangshan District, Alian District, Jiading District, and Sanmin District. The maximum cumulative subsidence is about 12 cm, but the Gangshan and Alian Districts Part of the subsidence area covers high-speed railways. In the future, attention should be paid to the subsidence of this area.
3.Achievements over the years
The analysis of the average subsidence rate of Kaohsiung from 2016 to 2020 is shown in Figure 3-63, which shows that there is no significant subsidence in Kaohsiung in 2020. The area of significant subsidence in Kaohsiung during this period is 0 square kilometers. The maximum annual subsidence rate occurs in the Qilian area. The value is 1.4 cm/year.
The map of the average subsidence rate from 2011 to 2015 and 2016 to 2020 is shown in Figure 3-64, which shows that the recent subsidence rate in Kaohsiung area is less than 3 cm/year, and there is no significant subsidence area.

Analysis of the main sinking points in Kaohsiung during this period is shown in Table 3-37. In this period, the sinking rate of most of the leveling piles in Kaohsiung area is less than 1 cm. Only in the Qifeng and Mituo areas, the sinking rate of some leveling piles is between 1~ Between 2 cm, so overall, there is no significant sag. Figure 3-65 is a map of cumulative subsidence from 2006 to 2020. The figure shows that during the past 15 years, the largest cumulative subsidence is mainly located in the Qilian District and Gangshan District. The maximum cumulative subsidence is 12.0 cm. Table 3-38 shows the Kaohsiung area in 2010. -2020 sag area analysis table.
